Just received this Fox widget launched by Eyeblaster Italy. I believe that the Entertainment industry can be very successful with widget campaigns. Especially by launching widgets through rich media campaigns. The only thing that still bothers me is the fact that many people don’t understand the SHARE button. We really need to explain it better in ads what SHARE means.
So this the latest coolest ad I’ve seen. I agree with you if you say that widgets, gadgets etc are a little bit overhyped. But the way the viral component is used in this ad is perfect.
